Poetry & Writing

I love experimenting with different topics and writing techniques. I think it's important to try and push yourself. Writing has always been therapeutic to me, and that's why I love it. In my blog, you can find stories, reviews, persuasive prompts or random out pours of my thoughts.

Daily Dosage posts are for the days that I let my fingers do the talking.

I love discussing characters and story lines of books that I've read, Books I've Read is a series of all the books that I have recently read and give you an insight into what I learned and if it's worth reading!

On the rare occasion that I get really creative, I love to write poetry. Most of the poetry I write just comes on a whim and is hardly ever edited. I like the idea of sharing the first thought, no chance for edit. Depending on the poem, I like to keep the original thought. So feel free to read My Poetry.

My Traveling Diaries is one of the my favorite things that I write about. I love documenting trips and the food I eat, the places I go and the things I do. Traveling, exploring and adventuring is one of my goals in life, to discover new cultures, people, food and opinions. I love everything about it.

Journal Prompts are for me to get to know myself a little better. They are for looking inward and expressing myself.

Story Prompts help to get my creative juices flowing and help me design and write my own story.

If you are interested at all, I do like to write Essays. I made a goal last year that I would write at least one essay a year. To me, that's 1,000 words explaining a inspiring person, current event, social issue or anything of that nature.

The College Girl's Guide is a series I started in 2013 that was a catch all series giving advice to college-age girl's about various topics like camping, rock climbing, traveling and adulting! This series is a lot of fun to write as well, because I get to implement things that I discover

Things I Learned only happens once a year at the end of the year. I take a moment and reflect on things that I've learned within the past 12 months.

Sometime The People I Meet make a huge impact on me and my life, and that's always worth sharing.
